Hi Spirits : The Ciders : British Ciders
This unusual cider is made from Sheppy's finest home grown cider apples and then blended with a small amount of best Somerset honey. This careful balance produces an excellent medium cider with a smooth, delicate flavour and pleasant aroma.
Medium Sweet. This apple has an abundance of rich, sweet fruit aromas with a full-bodied taste which lends itself well to a medium cider. Sparkling.
Dry and Fruity.Originating in the vale of Taunton Deane, this apple variety is a shy bearer of high quality, crimson red fruit which gives a refreshingly crisp flavour to this deliciously appley sparkling cider.
Medium Dry.An exceptional medium-dry lightly sparkling cider with a bright and refreshing taste.
Made under organic standards from home-grown cider apples, this traditional cider spends time 'on the lees' after fermentation to develop a richer flavour.
Medium/sweet.Taylor's Sweet is an old Somerset cider apple, it is a mild and delicate variety which produces a cider with a light, refreshing flavour, and subtle aroma. This is a medium to sweet cider.
Medium Dry.A fine old Somerset cider apple. Its early ripening deep red streaky fruit produces juice with a high tannin content, the mark of quality found in traditionally made cider. Sheppy's Tremlett's Bitter is rich in flavour and medium/dry in taste.
Bright straw-gold with excellent clarity, Samuel Smith's Organic Cider has a light body, with brilliant conditioning, a crisp clean flavour, and a dry finish. The bouquet is fresh apples, with a soft floral note.
Perry First introduced over 10 years ago for Glastonbury This soon became the favourite for festival-goers.

Perry. Light and naturally sparking with a clean and refreshing taste
A stunning strawberry perry perfect for balmy summer evenings, if we ever get any that is!
The cider is distilled in a continuous Coffey still, with no additions made to the cider. The high and low wines are removed, leaving a very pure, clean alcohol. It is then aged in small Hogshead barrels for 5 years, which provides a mellow complexity.
Full of apple flavours which leave the palate with an intriguing dry finish. It can be compared to a white port or a Pineau de Charentes.
Exotic with a perfume of apples spiked with gentian and almonds. Like a tawny port it is an interesting accompaniment to a good cheese. An after dinner drink.
